Welcome Visitors…we’ve been expecting you!
At Zion Lutheran Church we believe that we are partners in the Gospel. Through worship and opportunities to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ, we reach out to the world around us to be disciples – make disciples, so that all may know of the love of our living God. We look forward to the opportunity to know you and share in your faith journey.

ZION’S SUMMER SCHEDULE: Summer is upon us, and it has been requested and voted into agreement to make a few temporary time changes during the dog days of summer. We are pleased to announce our summer schedule:

Sanctuary Flowers are given to the glory of God by Norma Fry, in loving memory of Suzanne Miller.

DZ Meal Schedule: The first Sunday of May through October, the meal plan is PIZZA! We have received the donations needed to cover the costs! Thank you all for your generosity!!

Property Committee: We are updating several areas at Zion. One of our projects is to purchase new tables for our Youth Areas. Thank you so much for the donations received thus far! If you’d still like to make a donation, it’s not too late! On your donation, please write “Property” on checks/ envelope. Any questions please see Karl Emler.

Boy Scouts: The Boy Scout Troop #65 will be attending Boy Scout summer camp June 25 through July 1, 2017. Please keep the Scoutmasters, Leaders, Staff, young men and boys in your prayers. We pray that they all will grow stronger in their faith, grow physically stronger and grow together as friends and brothers. This may be their only experience throughout the year that acknowledges God in their daily lives, let’s pray they all are touched by God’s love. We also thank them for the Eagle Scout project, which is building a shed for Zion! Very proud of our Scouts!

Office Help Needed: Joellen will be on vacation Monday, August 14 - Thursday, August 17. Volunteers are being sought to sort mail, answer phones and perform other routine weekly tasks. If you are willing to help out one of these days, please contact Joellen in the office. Your help is greatly appreciated!
