Dear Zion church family and friends,
Zion's 2nd Annual Summer Day Camp was a faith enriching experience. Thank you for all your prayers, volunteer time, and support! God bless you.
God sent a wonderful team from HopeWood Outdoors (L.O.M.O.) who helped us explore the theme "Holy Trinity: Wholly Love" based on Revelation 22:13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Each day expanded on the theme through Bible stories on: Who is God the Creator, Who is Jesus,
Who is the Holy Spirit, Who am I, and Who are we?
Each day included worship, Discovery (small group Bible learning), crafts, games. There was even a water fun day! Zion members graciously hosted the team and fed them, prepared and served lunch and snacks, and led a beautiful afternoon story time which included faith conversation. This year we reached out and invited our neighbors and connected with several new families. One of our invitational strategies is "go to where people are" like we did with the Buckeye Street Cookout. This Outreach Day Camp is an excellent opportunity to do just that. God's love is for all!
